Dough

2 cups melted butter
6 cups flour
1 cup cold milk
1 egg
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp vanilla

Filling
1 1/2 c chopped walnuts
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
In bowl mix egg and beat, add butter and sugar, mix well.
Add flour and milk together
Mix together well and roll to size of walnut.
Open each one and put one teaspoon filling and close tight.
Brush with egg mixed with 1 Tablespoon milk
Makes 20-30 cookies
Bake 375º 10 minutes then 350º for total 20-25 minutes till brown

Can dip in syrup after cooled
2 c sugar
1 1/2 c water
3-4 drops lemon juice
Boil and simmer 5 minutes
