1 Bag of cubed hashbrowns

½ cup melted butter
¼ t. pepper
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 C. sour cream
½ lb. grated cheese (I use sharp cheddar)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Pour hashbrown potatoes ½ to ¾ inch thick in a greased 9 X 13 baking pan. Melt ½ C. butter and add the last 4 ingredients listed to the melted butter - stir.
2. Pour mixture over the hash browns and sprinkle with crushed potato chips.

Bake at 350º for 45 minutes or until golden brown.

OK, this recipe was "stollen" from Grandma Blunier's cookbook, but since this is a "go-to" recipe for me, I wanted to include it into my cookbook (mainly, for my convenience).
