4-6 red bell peppers
1 medium to large onion
2 cloves garlic
1 can tomatoes
Basil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 pinch of cayenne pepper
Red wine
cream
sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Sautee onion and garlic in some butter until slightly brown. Deglaze pan with wine and reduce. Add tomatoes with juice.

2. Roast red peppers over flame until blackened. Let cool. Rinse 2/3 of blackened skin off. Seed peppers and add to pot.

3. Add spices and blend all together. Simmer for a few hours to reduce.

4. Add sugar and cream to taste.
