4 Tbsp margarine
1½ lbs stewing beef
½ cup flour
1 tsp salt
⅛ tsp pepper
3 - 4 cups water
4 medium carrots
4 medium onions
1 beef bouillon cube
2 medium tomatoes
4 medium potatoes
1 cup celery, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Melt margarine in frying pan.
Dredge the cut up beef in mixture of flour, salt and pepper.
Add meat and all the flour mixture to pan and sear it.
Stirring until golden on all sides.
Add 2 cups water, cover and simmer stirring occasionally.
Add another cup of water, bouillion cube, tomatoes and onions.
Simmer covered for ¾ hour more.
Add potatoes, carrots, celery and one more cup of water.
Simmer another ¾ hour.
Serve with hot crusty rolls.
