5 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2-1/2 cups scalded milk
1 9" deep dish pie crust, unbaked
Nutmeg to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º

Mix eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla in large bowl. Slowly add scalded milk to mixture, stirring as you add. Cool, then pour into pie crust. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake 25-30 minutes. Insert knife into center of pie. If it comes out clean, pie is done.
