Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups flour (all purpose)
1 cup salt
1 cup water
acrylic paints
paper clips or ornament hangers
garlic press (for hair)
toothpicks (as tools)
polyurethane

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, salt, and water. Knead until dough is smooth in your hands, and you can't feel any salt or graininess. Divide dough into smaller balls, one for each color, leaving the biggest ball that will not be colored. Put a few drops of the acrylic paint into the small ball, and work it well, until the color is evenly distributed. Add paint until you get it the color you want. You will need less black or yellow than red or green when making Christmas ornaments.
When you have finished the ornament, use half of a paper clip or an ornament hanger shaped into a "U" to make the hanger at the top of the ornament.
Set oven at its lowest setting and bake until completely dry (several hours).
When ornaments are completely baked, dip in polyurethane to seal. You can do several coats of polyurethane, drying completely between coats.
