1 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cans cherry pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan.
In mixing bowl, cream butter & sugar.
Add eggs, extracts & beat well. Add flour & salt, mix well.
Spread half the batter into prepared pan.
Spoon the pie filling over the batter. Randomly drop tablespoons of remaining batter over pie filling.
Bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool & cut into bars.
You can drizzle w/glaze made from 1 C. powdered sugar, 1 tsp. almond extract & 2 tsp milk.

I have cut this recipe in half & used a 9 x 9 pan.
