For crust:
14 soda crackers, rolled fine
3 egg whites, beaten
1 cup sugar
½ cup chopped walnuts
½ tsp baking powder
1 ½ tsp vanilla
Topping:
1 cup whipping cream, whipped
1 - 1½ cups sliced strawberries
Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites stiff. Fold in sugar, vanilla, baking powder, crushed crackers and walnuts. Pour in pie tin and bake for 30 minutes at 350º When cool, whip cream and add strawberries. Spoon on top of crust. There is no need to add sugar to egg whites. Refrigerate.

I know strawberries are a favorite of Shelby's (and her cousin Tami). A great treat in summer when strawberries are fresh.
