1 package of bacon
3 medium potatoes
½ medium yellow onion
1 can cream style corn
1 can of corn giblets
Italian seasoning, or fresh herbs
Pepper
1 cup milk or cream.

Directions:
Directions:
1. Get the potatoes going first. Peel and chop potatoes into bite size chunks, put on stove to boil until tender.
2. Dice the bacon, and cook in separate frying pan until golden brown. Drain off the fat.
3. Add onion and sautee till just clear, add corn giblets and continue for a few more minutes.
4. Drain the potatoes, and in the same pot add, butter, and cream corn.
5. Pour in contents from frying pan, add milk and stir.
6. Now season to taste, can add more milk if it's too thick, simmer for 10 min stirring often.

This is easy comfort food, although maybe it's more of a bacon chowder! If you don't like bacon you are not my friend. Should serve this with fresh homemade biscuits. See the biscuit how to section.
