6 Tbl packed dark brown sugar
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup molasses
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbl rum (I used Spiced)
2 Tbl mustard
1 Tbl liquid smoke
1 Tbl chili powder
2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp cloves
4 cups ketchup

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except ketchup in a large saucepan. Bring to a simmer. Cook, uncovered, until all ingredients are dissolved, stirring constantly for about 5 minutes. Stir in ketchup, bring to a boil stirring well. Add salt and pepper, if desired, to taste.
