2 ¼ cup flour
1 egg beaten
¾ cup sugar
¾ cup buttermilk
¾ cup butter
1 can apple pie filling (or whatever you choose)
½ tsp baking powder
⅓ cup raisins
½ tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour and sugar in a large bowl.
Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
Set aside ½ cup of mixture.
Add baking powder and soda to remaining ingredients.
Combine egg and buttermilk and add to dry ingredients then stir just until moistened.
Spread two-thirds of batter over bottom and part way up the side of greased 9” spring-form pan.
Combine pie filling and raisins and spoon over batter.
Drop spoonfuls of remaining batter over filling and sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture.
Bake at 350ºF for 50-55 minutes.
