2 T butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 C sugar
1 C. flour
1/2 C. chopped nuts
3 C. rice crispies
confectionery sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in skillet.
Combine eggs, sugar, dates, stir into butter.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until it forms a soft ball in cold water.
Remove from heat, cool.
Stir in nuts and cereal, mix well.
Sprinkle confectionary sugar on wax paper.
Shape mixture into 2 inch thick rolls on wax paper.
Chill.
Cut into 1/4 inch slices.
