1 head of cabbage cut up
1/2 C water
3/4 tsp. dry minced onion
3/4 tsp. caraway seed
1/4 C vinegar
4-5 heaping T sugar or more to taste

Directions:
1. Bring cabbage and water to a boil, cover and simmer until tender.

2. Pour off water until below cooked cabbage. Add spices, vinegar and sugar.
