2 c. sifted self-rising flour
3-5 tbsp. Crisco shortening
3/4 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cut shortening into flour. Add milk a little at a time, stirring dough with heavy spoon. Turn dough on well floured board and roll or pat out to about 1/2 inch thick. Cut dough in 3 to 4 inch circles and bake in hot oven (500 degrees) for 10-12 minutes.
