1 QT CANNED TOMATOES
1 4 OZ. CAN TOMATOE SAUCE
1 4 OZ. CAN WHOLE GREEN CHILIES, CHOPPED
TSP. CUMIN
TSP. WHITE PEPPER
1 TO 2 TBSP. CHILI POWDER

BROWN GROUND BEEF IN LARGE SAUCEPAN. TRANSFER TO CROCK POT AND ADD TOMATOES, TOMATO SAUCE, GREEN CHILIES, CUMIN AND WHITE PEPPER. SIMMER FOR AT LEAST 2 HOURS TO LET THE FLAVORS COMBINE. ADD CHILI POWDER AND HEAT FOR ANOTHER HOUR BEFORE SERVING.

For quick chili, prepare on the stove top. We like our chili mild and thick, so I like to add a to can of refried beans to thicken my chili. You can add peppers or hot sauce of your choice for more spice.
