2 cups sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1 cup cocoa
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 tsp cinnamon
cup melted sweet butter
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla

Frosting:
1 lb. Semi-sweet chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups sour cream (room temperature)
tsp salt

Directions:

Grease and flour 2 9" cake pans. In a large bowl, mix all dry ingredients. Stir in eggs, milk, and melted butter - mix well. Add 1 cup boiling water and vanilla - stir to combine. Pour batter into pans. Bake at 350 until knife comes out clean (35-40 min). Cool, turn out of pans.

To make frosting, melt chocolate in double boiler. Remove from heat, stir in cup sour cream. Stir chocolate mixture into remaining sour cream - add vanilla and salt. Allow to cool. Slice tops of cakes to make flat surfaces.

Spread ⅓ of frosting over one cake. Place second cake on top. Spread top and sides with remaining frosting.l Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
