2 yeast packages
½ cup lukewarm water
2 Tbsp shortening
½ Cup white sugar
2 eggs
7-8 cups flour
½ tsp salt
2 ½ cups lukewarm water

butter
brown sugar
cinnamon
raisins (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Add 2 yeast packages to ½ cup lukewarm water, stir and let stand 5 minutes
Cream together 2 Tbsp shortening, ½ C white sugar and 2 eggs
Add the yeast mixture then 7-8 cups flour, ½ tsp salt and 2 ½ cups lukewarm water
Knead for 5 mins
Put in greased bowl and let rise until doubled in size in a warm place covered
Punch down and cut in long strips
Roll out
Spread with butter and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon (add a few raisins if desired)
Roll up and cut into two inch slices
Place on greased pan and cover with cloth to let rise again
Bake at 350 for 15-20 mins or until golden brown
