3 lbs. chicken
¼ tsp. pepper
3 Tbsp. sherry
½ tsp. paprika
6 Tbsp. butter
⅔ c. chicken broth
1 ½ tsp. salt
½ lb. fresh mushrooms sliced or 2 (4 oz.) cans (more mushrooms may be added)
12 to 15 oz. can artichokes
2 Tbsp. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Salt, pepper, and paprika the chicken, then brown in 4 Tbsp. of butter and put in a 9" x 13" baking dish. Sauté mushrooms in 2 Tbsp. butter. Sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms, then stir in the broth and sherry. Heat about 5 minutes. Arrange the artichokes between the chicken. Pour mushroom sherry sauce over the chicken, cover, and bake for 40 to 45 minutes at 375º.
Dish can be made ahead of time, refrigerated, and baked later.
