2 ozs. lean ground pork or beef
(can use turkey)
1/4 t. red pepper flakes
1/2 t. fennel seeds
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 c. onions, chopped
1/4 c bell peppers, chopped
2 pieces 6 inch pita bread
2 T. chunky tomato sauce
1/2 c. mozzarella cheese
cooking spray




















Directions:
Directions:
Combine ground meat, pepper flakes, fennel, garlic, onion & bell pepper in a nonstick fry pay.
Saute til cooked.

Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray & place the pitas on it. Sprinkle with cooked meat & vegetable mixure.

Put 1 T. tomato sauce on top of each pita
Sprinkle with cheese.

Bake at 400 for 5-8 minutes
