Personal Notes:
I put a frozen beef roast in the crock pot on Saturday evening. It makes for a delicious Sunday noon meal! If the roast is frozen when you put it in the crock pot, the meat will be more moist. A thawed roast will be dryer. Gravy can be made by adding broth to flour/water mixture. I use about 1 T flour in 1/2 to 3/4 cup cold water to make gravy.
