2 T shortening
1 lb ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 cup diced celery
1/2 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 cup cooked tomatoes
1/4 cup catsup
1 cup water
1/4 tsp monosodium glutimate
1 tsp chili powder
salt and pepper
2 T tapioca

Directions:
Directions:
Melt fat in heavy saucepan, saute meat lightly. Add onions, celery, mushrooms. Saute 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, catsup, water, seasonings and simmer 15 minutes. Add tapioca and cook until thickened.
