Ingredients:  
1 lb English or shoulder steat, cut into 3/4" cubes
1 (approximately 1 oz) pkg brown gravy mix
1/3 cup hearty Burgundy wine
2/3 cup water
1 tsp butr
8 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 small pearl onions, pealled or 3/4 cup chopped onions
1 tsp dry thyme or parsley

Place gravy mix in small bowl; gradually stir in wine and water. Set aside.

Melt butter in large nonstick skiller. Brown beef cubes over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes. Add mushrooms and onions, cook 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add gravy mixture and thyme to pan, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes, stirring constantly.

Serving Suggestion: Serve over long grain and wild rice.
