1 Cup Shortening
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1 Tsp. Vanilla
1 Cup Peanut Butter

3 Cups Flour (2 cups for chewy)
3 Tsps Baking Soda
1/2 Tsp Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugars, eggs, vanilla and peanut butter together. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Stir dry ingredients into wet mixture.

Drop by rounded teaspoons onto cooking sheet. Press with back of floured fork to make criss-cross pattern. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes or until light brown.
