one medium size butternut squash, cut into pieces or use frozen
1 large carrot, diced
1 med. sweet potato, diced
water for cooking
salt, pepper, to taste
soup consomme and a little onion soup mix
1 small onion for sauteing
1 marrow bone or flanken
1/2 t. sugar
1/2 t. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cook butternut squash, carrot, sweet potato, onion and garlic. Add marrow and or flanken and cook until soft. Add salt, pepper and soup seasonings. Add cinnamon and sugar at the end.
(Optional-serve with matzah balls.)
