1 C MARGARINE
1 C WHITE CORN SYRUP
2 1/2 C SUGAR
9 EGGS BEATEN
3 C PECANS
2 TSP VANILLA
SALT SHAKER THREE TIMES

MAKES 2 9 IN PIES

MIX BUTTER, SUGAR, CORN SYRUP IN SAUCEPAN.

STIR CONSTANTLY UNTIL MARGARINE IS MELTED AND SUGAR DISSOLVED.

TAKE OFF HEAT AND COOL A LITTLE, STIR IN EGGS AND VANILLA AND MIX GOOD.

PUT PECANS IN BOTTOM OF SHELLS AND POUR MIXTURE OVER PECANS. BAKE 375º
FOR 10 MIN, THEN REDUCE HEAT TO 300º FOR 40 MIN
