4 lbs lean ground pork
2 lbs lean ground beef
3 c mashed potatoes(save potato water)
1 c bread crumbs
1 large onion, chopped
sage to taste
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Fry onions until soft. Add beef and pork and cook until no longer pink. Add mashed potatoes and bread crumbs. If dry add potato water. Cook slowly for approximately an hour. Spices are approximate. Add a little and taste a lot!. Put in unbaked pie shells and top with crust. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes or until nicely browned. Cool completely before freezing.
