21/2 c flour
1 c sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp. shortening or butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 milk
1 tsp nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Add softened shortening, eggs vanilla, and milk. Mix quickly, fill into doughnut maker and fry in hot oil.
