½ cup butter or margarine - soft
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs – beaten
3 very ripe bananas – mashed
1 tsp. vanilla
¼ cup sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
1 ¾ cup flour
walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Cream butter and sugar together.
Add beaten eggs, mashed bananas and vanilla.
Add rest of ingredients, alternating dry with the milk.
Bake 40 minutes.
