2 c long grain rice
3 c water
1 pkg onion soup mix
1/4 c cooking oil( or can omit)
1/4 c soya sauce
1 can mushroom pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Grease 4 qt casserole dish. Mix ingredients well. You may add leftover beef, pork, chicken, turkey or ham. Also frozen peas can be added.
Cover casserole and bake for 45 mins, you may have to add a little more water at this time, stir and cook for 15-20 mins more.
