Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1c chopped dates
1c raisins
1c water
Boil above for 5 mins then add:
1/2 c marg (or butter) and 1/4 salt
Let cool
Add: 2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 1c flour and 1 tsp soda together in a separate bowl. Add to wet mixture. stir until just moist.
Spoon into greased muffin tins. Bake at 350º F for 15 mins.
Note: other dried fruits may be substituted such as papaya, mango, pineapple, cranberries or apricots. Almost anything works.
