1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 T milk
2-1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp per cookie Peanut butter
Beaten egg white (for top of cookie, amount will vary)
Colored sugar (for top of cookie for spinkles)

Preheat oven to 425º

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs and milk. Sift together flour, baking powder, nutmeg and salt. Stir in dough. Chill.

Using part of dough, roll out lightly to 1/8" thick. Cut 2-inch circles. Spread center of half the circles with 1 tsp peanut butter, top with remaining circle and press around edges with fork to seal -- or spread all circles and fold over into half circles.

To trim, brush with beaten egg white and sprinkle with sugar.

Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake til light brown 5-7 minutes.
