1/8 tsp salt
1 egg white room temperature
1/2 cup pecans chopped
1 tsp vanilla flavoring

Directions:
Cook syrup and sugar and water together until it spins a thread when you drop from a spoon. Then beat the egg white stiff, and pour 3/4 of the sugar and syrup mixture over the egg white. Beat while the remaining 1/4 of the syrup mixture cooks a little longer. Then add the rest of the syrup mixture into the candy and beat until it changes color from a glossy white to a dull white. Beat until it starts to get thick and cool. Add vanilla and nuts. Place by teaspoon full on wax paper and allow to set.
