1-1/2 cups dark raisins
2 tsp soda
2 tsp oleo
1 cup boiling water
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup nuts

3 #2 cans, greased

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350

Mix raisins, soda and oleo with water. Cool. Then add remaining ingedients. Filled 3 greased cans.

Bake one hour or until done.
