1 C. Soft Shortening
1 C. Sugar
2 Eggs
2 C. Sifted Flour
2 tsp. Cream of tartar
1 tsp. Soda
tsp. Salt

1. Mix together thoroughly: shortening, sugar and eggs.
2. Sift together flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
3. Stir into first mixture.
4. Chill dough.
5. Roll into balls the size of small walnuts.
6. Roll in granulated sugar and cinnamon.
7. Place about 2" apart on an greased baking sheet.
8. Bake until browned about 8-10 minutes at 375 in preheated oven.
