2 cups brown sugar
2 cups canned pumpkin
1 cup salad oil
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups flour
2 teaspoons soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon each of: salt, cinnamon and nutmet
2 cups raisins
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

1. In mixing bowl beat together sugar, pumpkin, oil and vanilla.
2. In another bowl sift together the dry ingredients.
3. Stir dry ingredients into sugar mixture until smooth
4. Blend in raisins and nuts
5. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet
6. Bake at 350º for 12 - 15 minutes
