Pecan Pie Bars Recipe

1 yellow cake mix
1 stick butter
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups dark corn syrup
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 cups chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine cake mix (all except 2/3 cup of mix), butter and 1 egg.
2. Mix until crumbly.
3. Press into greased and floured 13"x9" pan
4. Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
5. Mix reserved cake mix, vanilla, corn syrup, 3 eggs and brown sugar together.
6 .Pour this filling over partially baked crust
7. Sprinkle with chopped pecans
8. Return to oven and bake for another 30 to 35 minutes until filling is set.
9. Cook and cut into bars
