1/2 c. butter
4 c. sliced fresh peaches
1/2 c. sugar, let stand while making batter
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
1 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in 9 x 13 in. dish. Mix sugar and peaches (or fresh fruit) and let stand while making batter. Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and milk. Pour batter over melted butter - DO NOT STIR. Pour peaches (or fruit) over batter - DO NOT STIR. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees in metal pan, or 325 degrees in glass dish. Add a dash of cinnamon on top before baking.
