1 cup stone-ground whole wheat flour
1/2 cup dried milk
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
Shift together and add:
1 1/2 cups buttermilk (First choice), or sour milk (second), or milk (third), or water (fourth)
2 eggs beaten
2 tablespoons oil
Mix together and add last of all:
1/2 cup wheat germ
