2 cups cider vinegar
3 tbsp ketchup
2 tbsp brown sugar
4 tsp kosher salt
1 tbsp red hot sauce
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl and whisk until salt and brown sugar dissolve. Taste for seasoning, adding hot pepper flakes as necessary. Store in refrigerator. It will keep for several months.

Note: This sauce mixed 50/50 with Barbecue Sauce for Ribs in this cookbook is an excellent variation.
