2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp finely chopped fresh garlic
2 tbsp finely chopped fresh onion
1/4 cup white wine
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
kosher salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup (1 stick) cold butter - cut into eight pats

Directions:
Directions:
Place butter, garlic and onion in pan and saute' until soft and transparent, about 3-5 minutes. Do not burn. Add white wine, lemon juice, kosher salt and pepper and bring to a boil. Cook and reduce to 1/4 of what you started with. Keep heat very low and add cold butter one pat at a time, beating with whisk after each one to melt into a creamy sauce. Heat gently but do not boil or sauce will break down.
