2 tsp, oil
2 onions, chopped
2 lb. lean ground beef
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
1 can dark beer
1 cup strong coffee
1 (6oz) cans tomato paste
1 can beef broth
3 Tbs. chili powder
3 Tbs. brown sugar
1 Tbs. cumin
1 tsp. cocoa
1 tsp. cayenne
1 tsp.coriander
1 tsp. salt
4 (15 oz) cans kidney beans, rinsed and drained
4 chili peppers chopped or sliced jalapenos in jar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat oil in large stock pot, add onions, garlic and meat until browned. Drain remaining liquid.
2. Add tomatoes, beer, coffee, tomato paste and beef broth
3. Add spices. Stir in beans and peppers
4. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour


Vegetarian version:
Omit beef and beef broth and replace with vegetable broth, hot chili beans, dark kidney beans and black beans (1 can each).

Add diced carrots and saute until soft with onions and garlic.
