⅔ cup sugar
⅔ cup evaporated milk
2 egg yolks
⅓ cup shortening
½ tsp vanilla
1⅓ cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, milk, eggs, shortening and vanilla in heavy pan. Cook over medium heat until thickened. Add coconut and pecans. Allow to cool. Bake a German Chocolate cake according to package directions. Frost cake using this frosting. If making a layered cake, put frosting between layers and on top.
