(Cream Puffs)
1 cup flour
½ cup butter
1 cup water
4 eggs

(Custard filling)
2 cups sugar
4 Tbs. butter or marg.
4 eggs
4 T. cornstarch
2 ⅔ cups milk

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 400 º. Heat water and butter to a boil in a saucepan. Add flour, quickly. Beat until mixture forms a ball leaving sides of pan. Beat in eggs one at a time, beating smooth after each.
Drop by spoon onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 40-45 minutes until puffed and dry. Cool the puffs. Then cut off top and scoop out soft dough. Fill with custard filling.

(Filling) Add all of the ingredients for the filling . Using a double boiler cook until thick Then add vanilla. Let cool , then fill the cream puff. You may top with powdered sugar or chocolate icing. The best. Mom always bought the pre made filling at RSVP
