6 medium potatoes, 2 lbs
6 slices of bacon, cut into pieces
c. onion, chopped
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. all-purpose flour
⅛ tsp. pepper
3 tbs.p red wine vinegar
c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Cook potatoes
Cook bacon
Spoon out bacon. Remove grease, except 2 tablespoons of fat.
Add onion, cook until tender, about 5 minutes
Stir in sugar, salt, flour, and pepper, blend well
Gradually stir in red wine vinegar and water, cook until thick
Cut and add potatoes and bacon.
Serve in warm bowl or dish.
