1 cup dried apricots
1 tablespoon cornstarch
3/4 cups water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup flour
2 tablespoons orange juice
6 tablespoons butter
2 eggs
1 1/3 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cups coconut

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cut apricots into small pieces
2. Combine with water in a saucepan, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
3. Meanwhile mix flour, butter, and 1/2 cup sugar until crumbly.
4. Press flour mixture into greased 11"x7" or 9"x9" pan.
5. Bake at 350º fro 20 minutes.
6. Mix 1 cup sugar, cornstartch and salt.
7. Stir into undrained apricots and cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
8. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients except for coconut.
9. Spread apricot mixture over baked crust.
10. Sprinkle with coconut
11. Bake at 350º for 25 minutes
12. Cool and cut into squares
13. Store in refrigerator
