Mix in bowl:
1/3 C milk, scalded
3 T sugar
3/4 tsp salt
3 T oleo

When lukewarm add and mix until smooth:
2 eggs
1 1/2 C flour
1 pkg. yeast dissolved in 1/3 C warm water

Mix Date Nut Filling:
1/4 C oleo
8 oz. pitted dates snipped
1 C slivered nuts
1/4 C milk
3 T honey
2 tsp cinnamon

Add additional flour to form stiff batter (1/2 to 1 1/4 C more flour)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Add additional flour to form stiff cake batter (about 1/2 to 1 1/4 cups)

2. Cover and let rise until doubled (about an hour)

3. Turn Dough out on board and roll out square (about 12x15)

4. Spread filling to within 1 inch of the edges. Roll and let rise until doubled on greased pan.

5. Bake at 350 for 30 - 35 minutes.
