8 oz. lump crab meat
- c. diced red pepper
2 T. + 2 tsp. mayonnaise
2 T. fresh parsley
1 T. fresh chives or small green onion tops
1 T. fresh lime juice
1 T. Dijon mustard
4 to 5 drops hot sauce
2 tsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Loaf Italian bread (narrow)
Parmesan cheese for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat broiler. Line a broiler pan with foil. Place crab meat in a medium bowl, and feel meat with finger tips and remove any cartilage. Add the red pepper, mayonnaise, parsley, chives, lime juice, mustard, cheese and hot sauce and blend well. Slice bread diagonally into 16 slices. Spread 1 T. of mixture on each slice of bread. Place each on the broiler pan and broil 4 inches from the heat until golden brown. Watch not to burn
