4 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 tsp salt
1 1/3 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 cup melted butter
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 to 1 1/3 cup pecan pieces/halves
10 inch pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Beat eggs, sugar, salt, butter, syrup and vanilla extract thoroughly.
Stir in pecans, or lay on the bottom of the pie shell
Pour mixture into pie shell.
Bake 45-50 minutes.
Cool thoroughly.
