5 Tbsp flour
⅔ cup sugar
⅓ tsp salt
⅓ cup cold milk
1 1/6 cups hot milk
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 Tbsp butter
˝ tsp vanilla
baked pie shell
just ripened bananas

Fill pie shell with alternated layers of banana slices on the bottom and up the sides (you want this done so that your custard doesn’t cool too much).
Mix flour, sugar and salt with cold milk, stir gradually into hot milk and bring to boiling point.
Stirring constantly pour hot mixture over egg yolks and stir briskly.
Cook for 2-3 minutes longer.
Add butter and stir until melted then stir in vanilla.
Pour into banana lined pie shell and cool.
Add whipped cream.
