1 cup soft margarine
2 eggs
cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
cup white sugar
2 cup flour
1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 tsp baking soda
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Cream together margarine, sugar and pudding mix.
Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
Beat in vanilla.
Combine flour and baking soda; gradually add to creamed mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips (dough will be stiff).
Drop cookies 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 350F for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove to wire rack to cool.
